Still See You Everywhere

By Lisa Gardner

(Frankie Elkin #3)

The Third Book In The Frankie Elkins Series Keeps Us Guessing

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

SUMMARY

Frankie Elkin is an expert in finding missing persons, but the latest case she is considering is bizarre. She agrees to find the long-lost sister of a self-professed female serial killer. Frankie must move fast, given that Kaylee Pierson will be put to death in three weeks.

Pierson last saw her sister, Leilana, twelve years ago in Hawaii.  Leilanna was five years old.  She may be with Pierson’s tech mogul ex-boyfriend Sanders MacManus, who is developing an eco-friendly resort island in the Pacific Ocean. Frankie goes undercover as an employee on the island to find Leilana and everything that could go wrong…

REVIEW

This is the third book in a series with Frankie Elkin as the independent case solver.  She finds people.  If you haven't read the first two books about Frankie, stop right here and read those first. (Before She Disappeared and One Step to Far).

They were both fabulous books, but in this one, Frankie, didn’t quite seem to be the same person as she was in those books.  She seemed to lack the confidence, courage, and wit she previously possessed. I previously compared her to a female Jack Reacher, but she is not like that here.

Still See You Everywhere is well-written and has interesting characters.  The story was a little far-fetched, but the setting of an undeveloped Pacific island was intriguing. Lisa Gardner made the most of it, complete with wolf spiders and gigantic carnivorous crabs.  There are many characters not to like in this search for the missing girl, and when the island death toll starts rising, it’s time to head for the planes.  Gardner keeps us guessing throughout.
