Book Reviews - April Wrap-up

Here is a recap of the books reviewed during the month of April 2018. My favorite was SEND DOWN THE RAIN by Charles Martin. (5 Stars) It could have been because the setting is Cape San Blas Florida, my home away from home, and one of the top beaches in Florida or it could be because Charles Martin is just a fabulous writer. Probably both! The book that surprised me the most in April, in a good way, was THE WIFE by Alafair Burke. (4 Stars) I didn't know what to expect going into it and was pleasantly surprised. The writing was smooth and the story was skillfully crafted with just the right amount of tension. I just may have to check out other books by Burke.
